An Interview with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tan – President of BrainMark Vietnam

After Vietnam joined the WTO, what do you comment on the national branding activities of our country compared to before?

What most of us realize is that after Vietnam joined the WTO, we were well aware that the national competition environment has changed a lot. The national competitive environment changes in the way that global consumers as well as domestic consumers will have more opportunities to choose, thus forcing us to create new vitality for the national brand.

For this issue, Reporter CafeLand had a brief exchange with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tan, Brand Consultant, Director of BrainMark Consulting.

As CEO, Rarely does Nguyen Thanh Tan sits in his office. He is always “wandering” to other companies … or teaching about marketing, branding. His beginning day is  usually to starts with the latest updates of the partners. That is understandabl, as he is CEO of BrainMark, which specializes in marketing consultancy, marketers and marketing training.

Restructuring the company is best when it is growing because after growing  will usually be the downturn of growth, however, few people do this, people often ‘sleep on the victory’.
